ma TV have s-video and ma laptop have VGA port and i need to connect on to other ,what i must to do?????

is there a vgi to hdcp vgi? cause my laptop is from 2002 and only has the vgi..
@TreeTopSky First of all, you’ve got the name of your cables all wrong. It’s VGA and HDMI, not VGI and HDCP. And if there aren’t such cable, you could probably find one on ebay. Good luck
my laptop has an HDMI output just like my TV, would it also work if i used a ps3 like hdmi cable and connect to the TV to laptop easily?
all I currently have is a laptop with only 15pin input and a vga cord and a tv with only a svid/4pin and a hdmi….. any suggestions?
i used the vga to vga and my tv screen wont work for my laptop but worked for my fucked up hp:) what am i doing wrong i powerd eveything down hooked it up and turned it all back on but my tv is from 09 and my laptop is my 99 does that matter also my tv hd only my laptop is not hd at all is that the problem
i just got the wire an pluged it in and it work fine i didnt have to do all that i just got some speakers for my laptop coz the sound dosent come fron the t.v
yeh all hdmi to hdmi cables are universal meaning they work on anything with hdmi ports
so uu just got the cord nd connected it to the laptop nd then the tv nd thats it? what cord?
@Mikejunior252 it was called a male to male cord it was only £5 yer i just pullged it in an it worked
buy a new tv? lol no.. or you can probably try to find an adapter
i need a cord that connects to a vga cord and a hdmi input… awaiting for more suggestions

for the s-video cord: do i have to shut down my pc before conecting with my tv?
if you don’t shut down your laptop it will freaz your laptop
