I want one that is girly, non-sporty, and doesn’t look like a briefcase, though the color doesn’t matter. I have looked ALL over, including the internet and office stores. Price doesn’t matter, so if anyone knows where I can find a chic tote for my 17" laptop, please let me know!! Thank you!

I’m currently trying to buy a laptop for college, and have decided on everything but the screen (Glossy or Matte). I’ve read a variety of opinons so far tonight, but they’re all basically the same thing. How am I ever supposed to decide? I’m basically just going to be using it for school work and gaming, maybe an occasional movie. I have no idea which one to get. Some say the glare isn’t bad, some say it’s unbearable. Anyone have any advice?

I have a d9700t 17 inch hp, whats a good laptop cooler? any tips for when i first start up my computer? where do i update my computer with everything i need?

The screen on my HP laptop is completely black. For a while, it worked but flashed all sorts of bright colors randomly. Sometimes I could put pressure on it at certain angles to keep the screen looking normal, but now, it won’t even show anything except black. What could be wrong? What do I need to do to fix it?

When I got my laptop fixed from HP, they put a clear peice of plastic on it that stuck to it to keep from scratching, well it’s fnially come off and I want something else to protect it. Anyone know of anywhere? It seems like 17" are hard to find anything for :/

Or more specifically, would it work without damaging it? The connectors look identical, but the DELL supply is marked as 19.5V and my HP supply is marked at 19V. Do you have any experience with this?

I turned on my laptop today only to find that the screen is blank every time I boot up. Now I look closely I can see that it is actually very, very dark. I have not tampered with any settings and I don’t think there are any settings I can change although any suggestions are welcome. I fear it may be that someone has knocked it and the screen needs repair and if this is the case than could domeone give me and estimated price they think it would cost?

I’m looking for a new laptop and i want to know if the studio 17 by dell is a reliable laptop.

I’ve got my Toshiba laptop connected to a Viewsonic 19" widescreen flat panel monitor. Problem is I can’t acheive 1440 x 900 screen resolution settings within the display properties. Any ideas?
